The CIO Strategy Council is pleased to announce that Tim Bouma joins the CIO Strategy Council in the role of Director, Verification and Assessments.
Tim joins the CIO Strategy Council at a crucial time as domestic and international digital policy dimensions lay the groundwork necessary to build confidence and security in the use of data and digital technologies.
Tim brings a wealth of passion, expertise and will to get things done. In his previous role as Senior Analyst for Digital Identity at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, Tim led the development of policies, standards, and trust frameworks. Notably, in 2021, Tim led the assessment and onboarding of two provincial digital identity programs into federal services, enabling 10 million Canadians to gain immediate access to digital services.
Recognizing the strong partnerships required between the public and private sector, Tim’s new role has been made possible by the Canada School of Public Service in accordance with the Treasury Board’s Policy and Directive on Interchange Canada.
